320i with the sport package. Manual seats, RWD, perfect weight distribution. Cheap.

Will have to factory order. Every 320 on a lot is a 399 lease special.

So, a Jalopnik Special ?

I still think there’s something weird about buying a car over 30k that still has manual seats unless it’s a track special like a 911 gt3 or something along those lines

Gonna get it from here? I’m moving out of my apartment tomorrow and found this, came with my car when I got it.

I never really consider electric seats an “upgrade”. I know a lot of people do but it’s one of those things that just isn’t on my list.

Depending on availability, I may sell out And get an auto.

Ha. We’ve changed the design to a newer one, but there’s still a lot of the old ones floating around the dealership.

We actually keep a pretty wide selection of 320s on hand. That way customers can get an AWD model with the bells and whistles for $41-43k.

It’s important to those of us who are notable larger than their spouses. The ability to just push a button to return my seat to its perfect position(along with all the mirrors) is a godsend.

Imho, yuck. But, your money, your car, free country blah blah :)

That’s almost what I’m buying, except for the fact that I’m looking for an automatic one.
It’s probably the best BMW on sale right now next to the base 228i in my opinion.

We’re the same way. But she never really drives my car.

I actually had short moments of regret buying my 328i, when just a week after I saw a 320i for a few grands cheaper and had the split folding seats, and I really didn’t need all that power. Wasn’t a Sport Line though.

Though I’m really not sure if I want a white car. My colour combo is better.

Also, I remember the first time I got a loaner from a BMW dealer, BMW of Corpus Christi actually, and theyre like oh you’ve got a stick, you want the stick loaner. I’m like hell yeah, got a brand new 2015 320i with a stick. Other than being slow, it wasn’t bad at all. Slow might be relative, getting out of an M3 and into that might have skewed my views on the car.

We split my car at HDPE’s. I’d lose half my laps trying to fix the seat and mirrors.

Coworker has a 320d in that colour. Best colour ever for that gen.

It’ll hit 60 in 6.7s, which makes it objectively average, in terms of speed. My issue with it is the 24/36mpg rating. That’s not good enough for a 4 cyl in 2016.

Have you driven a 328i? I haven’t driven a 320i but I rode in one when the dealer dropped me off and picked me up at my house once. It was soooo slow and the engine had to rev up so much to go up hills. Had a 328i xDrive as a loaner and it was not that powerful either but still not bad at all.
Now I’m very, very spoiled when it comes to power and low end torque thanks to my Audi DD, but I still think that the 328 is worth it for the power. I’d take a CPO 328i over a new 320i any day. There are a surprising amount of 328’s out there with manuals and no power seats, even CPO.

I work at a BMW dealer, so yes I’ve driven them. And I would Dinan tune the 320. And I doubt I’ll be buying a car since we get Employee Lease Deals.

Side note: what’s the foreign delivery process like? That’s on my bucket list for sure.

I have no idea. I haven’t booked one for a customer yet.
